📍 Location: Republic of Guinea
⏳ Duration: 6 months (with possible 3-month extension)
The role requires the following tasks to be performed:
✅ Deliver training & coaching (classroom + field)
✅ Support task planning, risk assessment & hazard mitigation
✅ Supervise high-risk operations (lifting, working at heights, electrical, etc.)
✅ Reinforce international HSE standards & best practices
POSITIONS TO BE FILLED
1. Lifting Supervisor / Specialist Coach / Training
Responsible for overseeing lifting and rigging operations in complex industrial environments. Provides hands-on training and coaching to diverse teams, develops and reviews lifting plans, and ensures safe execution in compliance with international standards. Conducts inspections of cranes and lifting equipment while reinforcing a strong safety-first culture.
2. Working at Height / Scaffold & Drop Objects Supervisor/Training
Leads and supervises safe working-at-height activities, including scaffolding operations. Delivers training and coaching to improve the skills of local and international teams, conducts field assessments, and ensures compliance with best practices. Focuses on reducing risks related to scaffolding, dropped objects, and height-related tasks.
3. Risk & Situational Awareness Coach / Hazard Identification / Training
Promotes proactive hazard identification and safe decision-making in dynamic work environments. Coaches teams on situational awareness, conducts field observations, and reinforces safety practices during high-risk tasks such as piping installation and hydrostatic testing. Facilitates toolbox talks and integrates situational awareness into PTW and SIMOPS systems.
4. Electrical Specialist / Coach / Training
Provides training and oversight for electrical safety in both High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems. Delivers structured coaching on hazard recognition, isolation procedures, and safe practices for energized and non-energized systems. Conducts inspections, competency assessments, and mentors teams to strengthen electrical work standards and compliance.
5. PTW (Permit to Work) Specialist / Situational Awareness Coach / Training
Manages and supports Permit to Work (PTW) systems to ensure safe coordination of simultaneous operations. Leads PTW and SIMOPS planning meetings, conducts audits, and provides coaching on hazard recognition and control of work processes. Strengthens frontline decision-making and promotes a culture of safety ownership across teams.
Requirements:
🔹 Minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant HSE specializations
🔹 Strong background in industrial, infrastructure, and high-risk environments
🔹 Proven coaching, training, and workforce development expertise
🔹 Multilingual (Must be fluent in English & French. Ability to communicate in Chinese is an added advantage )
🔹 Prior West Africa/remote site experience preferred
